Create mash-ups and found-footage with films from the Atlas using the Filmatters editing table. Simple and intuitive, it lets you build intimate narratives from collective material — to illustrate poems, tell travel stories, or adapt your favourite tales.
Instructions
1. Gather your material
Browse the Atlas and add the clips that inspire you to your editing table. You can search by film, colour, composition, or atmosphere. Each selected clip appears in your media library, ready to be edited.
2. Edit your film
Drag clips into the timeline to build your sequence. Rearrange them freely, adjust their duration, and add intertitles to pace the narrative. The editing table is designed to be intuitive — no prior editing experience required.
3. Export your film
Once your edit is finalised, click Export the film. The interface assembles everything and downloads your work as an MP4, ready to screen or share.
